Overview
What is the role expected of leaders in managing risk? How can they maximise the opportunities as well as protect their organisation?
ACCA’s report (see https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/professional-insights/risk/risk-and-the-strategic-role-of-leadership.html ) illustrates the current practice of board oversight of risk management, based on in-depth interviews with executive and nonexecutive directors. It highlights good practices as well as the challenges that leaders face, and considers ways forward.
At the event, we will hear about the key findings of the report from the research team, followed by a panel of speakers consisting of leaders and risk experts sharing best practices and ways to tackle challenges.
